Our team is composed by four members: Aline Pinheiro, Barbara do Nascimento, Leonardo Austregesilo and Marina Quaresma. Together, we carried out an assignment for the subject Interdisciplinary Project from our Languages - Translator and Interpreter course offered by São Judas Tadeu University.
The main objective of our course is to build up citizens to criticize, to innovate and to act in a world of constant and fast changes. In addition, it prioritizes the re-creation of texts in its different modalities and, due to the diversity of subjects which the future professional will work with, it offers instruments to improve its general knowledge.
Due to our passion for Brazilian culture and the desire to spread this wealth among foreigners and natives, we created Folclore-se.
ALINE PINHEIRO
Motivated to expand her awareness of English and Portuguese, she entered in the course of Languages - Translation and Interpreting in Universidade São Judas Tadeu, 3 years ago. Born in São Paulo, she obtained some professional experiences as a sales assistant, store assistant and in the moment works with customer support including consulting with foreigners.
BARBARA DO NASCIMENTO
Languages - Translation and Interpreting student at Universidade São Judas Tadeu, in addition to being graduated as a Food Technician by Etec (technical formation integrated with the high school). She currently works as a proofreader of translations, having also worked with bilingual child education. Born and raised in São Paulo, she hopes one day to visit new countries. Her focus is on study and profession in the English and Spanish language focused on the translation of legal and chemical texts.
LEONARDO AUSTREGESILO
My name is Leonardo, 25 years old, student of Languages. From an early age I discovered my passion for languages and various cultures, as well as for nature and the well-being of life. Aspiring translator, I would travel the world taking my knowledge with me and producing educational content, diving deep into cultures and taking in everything I can from each light being. Secretly passionate about photography and pop culture.
MARINA QUARESMA
I'm Ma, I'm 20 years old and I was born in São Paulo.
I study Languages - Translation and Interpreting, Education and I am a self-taught student of a few languages. Teacher, writer, literary translation begginner, fascinated by the history of our ancestors and unique cultures (also, artisan in my spare time). Passionate about nature and everything around it, I seek to reduce damage and be the change I want to see in the world. I believe in the magic of words, in the search for knowledge and in the power of education.
